Perrycrofts – Bathroom

A lovely young couple approached us after having bought a property in the local area that needed a bathroom update.

It was to be a family bathroom and their brief was a freestanding bath, double basin, and separate shower.

We chose the freestanding bath first as the client wanted a very specific look and then we worked around this. With the need for space around the bath to clean, it did mean a limited amount of space for the shower, but a solution to this was using a wet deck for level access (no steps to trip over). Similarly, we used shower doors that pivot 180 degrees (push both inward and outward), so when the shower isn’t in use the doors can be pushed back out the way to allow a more open space.

Choosing the wall hung basin meant that the customer could easily clean underneath it and a towel warmer close by so a warm towel is always on hand.
