We’ve just returned from an inspiring trip to London for the BKU Awards 2025 – and what a fantastic day it was! As always, it was a real pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces from the industry and to meet some new ones along the way.

This year, we had the privilege of spending the afternoon with Darren Bailey from VitrA, who was nominated for Best Sales Representative. Darren supports our area and has consistently gone above and beyond for our team, so it was brilliant to share the experience with him and cheer him on.

The event began with a warm drinks reception, generously hosted by Claygate Distribution. From there, we moved into the stunning Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden for the ceremony. With a beautiful venue, excellent staff, delicious food, and great live entertainment, the atmosphere was second to none. This year’s host, Colin Murray – best known for presenting the TV show Countdown – brought plenty of laughs and energy, making the afternoon one to remember.
